Has anyone made a mission that starts before 01/01/1938? Any date before that time makes the date roll back to 01/01/1940. I am trying to test something that requires mission dates done in the WW1 time frame. Any help will be appreciated!

im pretty sure the mission editor is limited to the shown dates only so it resets when you go beyond the shown date settings as you were trying to do
i think you would have to mod the editor to go beyond that and i wouldnt have a clue about that |

Can they be edited by hand then? Say I make 1938 = 1914, can I make a mission set up in the editor for 1938 then edit it by hand and change the 1938 dates to 1914? And what program can I edit the files with?

![]() manual editing the mission files is a trick i use to make ships appear together when they shouldnt based on the historical dates of operation in their files |

You can edit mission (.mis) files with notepad.
