JSGME comes as a compressed group of files. Using a tool like WinRAR, you "Extract" it directly to the Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific root folder (where ever you installed it). The "MODS" folder is automatically produced, along with a couple of other folders/files, in the games root folder. That's it.
It's important to know where your games root folder is. If you've forgotten, do a search. Windows XP defaults to "C:/Program Files/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific". Vista/Windows7 will be different. Using "Windows Explorer" is the best way of navigating through the computer folders to get to the games root folder. Once JSGME is installed correctly, open it and under the "Tasks" menu, have JSGME "Take a Snapshot" of your fresh game files. This will give you an idea of what has been "left behind" when shuffling mods in and out. Will the stock game files change as you move mods in and out? Does a bear xxxx in the woods!?!
