What would you like to see in the next Fallout game?

I doubt they will do New York. Americans are extremely sensitive about that area since 911 and I don't think Beth will go there... sure an alien invasion there but a fallout game eh... I don't see it.

3 ran worse because of Games for Windows BS... man I hate that.

NV had steam and ran pretty much flawless on my system.

Europe would actually be a good idea. I am looking for canon (yeah, lore junky) material on the fate of Europe during this Chinese-American Escalation, but find little info on what happened. (alot of hypotheticals, but no facts)

It would be nice to see what happened.
Or even a Fallout from the Chinese point of view, as they were no doubt Nuked just as hard as we were.

Yeah, I understand. It is a sore point. Destroying NY in media has been off limits, unless it is an alien or a tidal wave from a meteor.
(like a mild version of European Denazification laws)

Even the movie Die Hard: With a Vengeance, would have been frowned upon if it wasn't made 6 years before the fact. (A film dedicated to terrorists in NY, and a very graphic bombing of a subway train under Wall Street.)

I still think its passing on a great setting. Or maybe because it would be a first priority target in a nuke strike, it could still be too heavily irradiated to support life? Then again FO3 was in DC.

ok I went too far, just hypothesizing.

I think it is fairly likely the various nations of the former European Commonwealth nuked each other into rubble, no doubt helped by the Soviet Union, US and China.

I would quite like a Fallout game set in Europe as well, it would be interesting.

Don't get me wrong I think NY would be a great setting and I wouldn't be one of the people upset and wanting to lynch Beth for doing it... but for every American like me there is 50 super sensitive ones that would be completely outraged by the very idea of the next fallout game being set in NY. The suits at Beth I'm sure they are aiming for mass appeal and little controversy.

Europe would also be a great setting. I think it is a sort of missing storyline lost in the Fallout lore.

China I don't really find as appealing though.
