Even so, Doctor Who was revamped but continued the story and the characters, but some things went also wrong, being the last of his kind and put him like a hero/god like, in some occasions character.

Blake's 7, only saw a few things, but possibly a good remake could do the trick. I liked the BSG remake even if they began to go crazy in the third season.
Now, Space 1999, hummm. If the moon is throw out of orbit, goodbye life on earth, so...

Not quite true, The Master survived from the time war and as we know the time lords are not dead, there locked in a time bubble with most of the daleks fighting a never ending war and yes The Master turned against the time lords which resulted in him being lock in the bubble.

So who is left, well the Dr as we know and..maybe Morbius survived his encounter with the Dr...Omega came back twice! If I missed any time lord villains feel free to post, and there is of course a slight chance Romana who was left in E space.

Note to self, get out the house more.

Third, Omega may return as the new bad ass villain for the next season.
Yes, you were also right. But Romana returned to N space to be lord president, at least in the stories. Susan may still be alive and the Doc has his daughter/clone...

Aboiut the moon going for a space walk, yes, but I like some degree of scientific fact in the science fiction. Space 1999 was being broadcast again a few months ago here, and like the series. I always wanted to know if the replicate by cloning or something, since they start with 300 or something people and the lost more than that during the series.

They probably visited the same trans-dimensional supply depot the Starship Voyager did from time to time to restock on Redshirts, Shuttles and Photon Torpedoes.

I must admit, the Federation looked good and nasty.

Hmm I rather liked the original-could be well done. I still wish we had more original stuff like Firefly and Babylon 5 though or has that all dried up.

Now now this is science fiction not science fact.

The Alphen's could have been wiped out on number of times and still they came through it.

And now for a classic year one episode...

WAR GAMES

That dam Bomber gets around...War Games, Alpha Child, Dragon's Domain and finally The Last Enemy.

I have to get out more often.

Well, from what I remember hearing, Blake's 7 was to be a straight reboot. That would have been great. Triple pronged ships and crop haired fascist space dominatrix ahoy!
