As far as tsunamis are concerned only warnings have been issued. But i bet because of the one in 2004 the public over there is probably in a state of panic heading for the hills.

Lets hope their feet stay dry this time.

According to sky news the warnings have been lifted.

The earthquake in 2004 was a 9.2, but it was vertical and this one was horizontal making a whole lot of difference.

Who could blame them for running inland
