I don't know what the hell happened, but I did another fresh install of SH3, GWX, JSGME, SH3 Commander, Commander Cfg files, Extra Ammo, and Deck guns in any weather, all in that order, and enabled them in JSGME, but now my deck gun has 0 rounds. I haven't edited any files, I've just used the ones included in the mods. I don't really want to have to do another download and fresh install, especially if it's going to happen again. Is there somewhere in the registry or something that I have to go to delete all the SH3 files after I delete and before I do a fresh install? I'm using Windows 7, and I've been away from PC's for quite awhile, so I forgot most of the stuff I used to know about them, such as editing the registry and other important ****.
Any suggestions? Do I have to do another fresh install or is there something else I can do? |

You can try turning UAC off - if indeed on http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to...-in-windows-7/ As said earlier this usually only applies to programs installed in the Program Files folder - Windows grabs certain files to store then puts them back when program starts - messing up any added mods. Though as you have 0 shells something deffo odd there Try just SH3 and GWX without any mods on |

UAC is off, that's the first thing I do on any PC I touch, even other peoples! God I hate that crap.
If it is Windows changing the files in the Program Files directory, is there any way to force Steam to install in a different directory? Do you mean try running it with the mods in JSGME disabled, or should I uninstall/delete everything again and just install SH3 and GWX, then try it? |

I tried it by just deactivating the mods through JSGME, but still no joy. So I've uninstalled SH3, and SH3 Commander, downloaded a registry cleaner(hopefully it's a good one), and will install it all again fresh later once I've downloaded it again from steam. Damnit, I wish my disc worked with Windows 7!
For GWX, is there an Uninstall program, or do you just delete it from your SH3 directory? |

No there is no uninstall for GWX
Once installed from Steam try relocating the SilentHunterIII folder to somewhere else C:/Games or something Before adding GWX |
