You can turn the Noise Meter on and off in the realism settings, but not Hull Integrity.
I even tried a new career at the EASY setting; every realism option is unchecked. No Hull Integrity reading appeared in the game. I'm pretty sure it was removed by GWX. There has to be a file edit that will return it. No, I will not use Commander. Tried it and it crashed my system every time, multiple re-installs. Nada.

I'm sure there is a mod out there somewhere to replace the 'hull integrity' feature. Maybe ask on the mod forum, if you haven't already. Someone might be able to tell you how to manually put it back in the game.
Certainly up to you not to use SHCommander, but honestly it has always seemed an exceptionally stable program to me. ![]()

It is definitely GWX that removes the indicator. There is a mod that brings it back, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Be patient, it will turn up.
Too bad about Commander. I consider it the most important mod in my game. Nothing touches what it does for the career. [edit] Something I've become very fond of us this little mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...rity+indicator. It replaces the percentage with colors - green is good, yellow means you might want to be careful and read is critical.
