From looking at those trucks I can tell this movies is unrealistic because those trucks seem to be from the early 1900s.

Honestly, this is my favorite sub I have ever seen, from one of my favorite movies ever. This thing would border OP on SH4 or 3, it has turret torpedoe launchers, meaning 360 degree firing solutions, and it has twelve total lanchers. It also carries 22 sub pods which probably go 40-50 knots, each armed with 8 mini torpedoes, which means you would have 176 torpedoes, each with the hitting power of a 4 inch shell, or a small airplane bomb. The sub itself is 1000 frickin feet long, and is incredibly durable, as in the film it gets beat around by a 4000 foot long lobster and only suffers manageable flooding, and even when it is shot with a lightning beam, its not the beam that kills it, but its own engines detonating. I can see this thing being the perfect ship for the Samar battle
