That's funny, I have never seen any spare torpedos on my decks. I have often wondered about it. Mind you, I haven't progressed in the campaign so perhaps that is the reason.

Yeah, I'm wondering when the external spares become available. I'm in Dec '39 so I really have but a few patrols under my belt but I never have read when those external spares come around.
Does anyone know?
As for as the actual graphic of a torpedo storage, I'm not sure if this is shown as a graphic at all. I don't think I see them in SH3...

I'm not even sure which boat I have, though going on what you said it must be a VIIA.

It indicates with text that there is external storage on the sub-systems, but there are no slots there.

Is it possible to chnage it in the middle of a campaign?

The more tonnage you sink the sooner you will get a new boat.
By the time you get to happy times - you should have a type b

There are mods to force a type c/41, but you would need to start a new career.

Does anything inhibit the transfer of external torps in the VIIb besides being desks awash/surfaced, not on silent running. I'm on my 2nd campaign, nigh on 1m tonnage yet every so often the ext spares won't transfer. I'm running Sobers mega mod bundle and am wondering if weather/sea conditions and/or morale levels are a factor.

Any clues guys?
