I guess, but I don't plan to commemorate his death on this model as it is based on the ship as it was launched in 1765, 38 years before his death.

I've read that when going into battle they painted the decks red to hide the blood of the dozens who would be killed. Could be a myth, though.

Thanks mum. The decks where not painted red. From my research the only interior parts that were red on Victory were the inside of the gun port hatch covers.
