A question for those who have DW

Why would SCS (and thus us) pay for something they thought was going to be released to the community quickly and free of charge? :hmm:

I do think that SCS overestimated how well DW was going to be received by the Sub Command players and modders and thus how quickly quality mods were going to be released.

I seem to remember one of the most negative things I have ever read about any game, horribly trashing Dangerous Waters, being the front page of the former SCX site, at least the last time I checked it before Ramius redid the site for DWX.
