Thanks for the help, after re-intsalling TMO I realized it's the same thing, you have to manually drag them over. I recall them automatically moving over for some odd reason.

Removing the UI helps greatly though.

Yep. SH3 had pretty bad crew management, but the guns would be manned if you clicked the buttons. SH4 improved the crew management dramatically, but they had go fix something that wasn't broke, and they broke it.
