Controlled demolition is not easy. Anyone can blow the crap out of something with enough explosives. But to drop a silo like that is complicated.
I wonder what they ended up doing. With it already partially collapsed, it will be dangerous to re-drill for a drop. I imagine they would have to topple it instead of dropping it.

Doh! I hate when that happens!
![]() My guess is it's time to bring in the long reach excavators. An excavator with shears would make quick work of that silo. |
