A nicely done job so far, Jim.

Wouldn't it be good to have some lamps integrated into the shelves like it seems to be in this image?

...just an idea...

A good idea at that and one I'm still unable to make my mind up on...I may swivel the three spotlights toward the cabinet and see how that looks first.

The room isn't all that big and I'm worried too much light might be 'overkill'.

Why worry about it? Unless you're having people in every day to look at it "overkill" is all in your own mind. And you can always change it again. And again. And again.

Notice the boxes stacked not only underneath as shown earlier but also to the right of the cabinet.

Also along the top.
