A nearly passed out, uncontrollably giggling caribu is counter-productive to your goal.

Default Don't get it

I tried to download a skin, but it said I had exceeded my limit. Funny part is I had just tried to do it the one time.

This is because the downloads are tied to posts. You had never posted, hence you couldn't download. The more you post the more you can download. This is because hosting downloads costs money, and we want active members who take part in the forums, not just people who join so they can grab stuff.

I just installed SH3 on my new computer. I haven't played in awhile and I felt the need to reinstall. Love the game and love all the mods everyone has made. Why all of you don't have jobs making Silent Hunter VI right now is beyond me. The mods have made just plain vanilla Silent Hunter III unplayable for me

Now that you've posted it should be sorted shortly.

Welcome aboard!

Hi all, hey can someone help me, I havent d/loaded a mod in a long time, and I tried to get that one " Machine with spirits " mod and it said, to slow down and wait say 9 secs to begin your next download,so 1 minute later I tried again, and the time increased
I wonder if thats why it says ive d/loaded so many files but in reality I only have a handfull of mods....

Instead of waiting can i slip in a bride
Ok thanks for telling me, im still learning to navigate this site etc..
Oh quick question, I have GWX3.0 installed, I saw that a new super mod had been released, NYGM 3 Super-mod (Current: 3.6 Wolfpack Edition)
Is that a better GWX 3.0 mod? or can the NYGM super mod be installed alongside the GWX 3.0 mod??

NYGM and GWX are two completely separate supermods, and have nothing to do with each other. They both overwrite most of the same files and cannot be used together.

Which is better? That depends on what you want out of the game. There is also WAC and LSH3, both of which also are supermods. What you can do is use MultiSH3 to set up several installations of the game, and try them all.

Do as Steve suggests (providing your system has the ability) and you've got months of quality simulating to look forward to
