i am using yours but none of the scopes that come with yours come with a 16:10 ratio, they all only have 16:9 ratio.

just do the math 16/10 = 1.6 = 1440/900 = 1.6 = 8/5 = 1.6 so just use the 8x5 Manus Scopes. I'm playing with those on 1440x900 in windwed mode without having any issues

Thank you, i was just coming back to post an edit to my last LOL. After doing a search i found how you get the 1.6 thing. never new that before, so i am off to put in the 8x5 ratio one.
Thanks again all.. By the way TDW do you know what might be causing the other issue of the sonar man saying on his own the contact info of say 330 degrees but if i hit the Z key at the same time or just after it will always tell me 1 degree different. so it would show 331 degrees. |

Well ETsd4 i understand what you are saying for the most part, and i concure with you. I also think that is part of my problem. I figured that 1 degree would add up over time. Only reason i have been doing that is bacuase in both tutorials that is how they do it.
Stoinam says in his tutorial that you must do the z key cause the sound man will lag and not call out at exactly the time you need, and in the one that is in automation he also does that. I thought when i use to play that i didnt have this problem. I could have sworn that it would always give the same bearing when i hit the Z key to what he would call out being on follow nearest contact. That is why i was asking what may have changed it. And thankyou Trevally, i forgot all about that mod. Downloaded it and installed Last edited by sirbum69; 11-23-11 at 11:37 AM. Reason: forgot something to add |

So just use the 4 bearing to get into the best area to attack from - then use a scope attack. Just using the hdro to attack a ship without ever raising your scope is very hard. You would want to take many more reading to cut out any errors. |
