Googling 'error Oxc0000142' (which really should be the first thing you do) reveals a large number of potential causes, most of which seem to be connected to a corrupted user account, or by not starting the program as 'Administrator'.
It could also be a registry error; if Steam has left its SH5 information in the registry, reinstalling it to another location could cause conflict in the registry due to the difference in install locations. You could try something like CC Cleaner's registry cleanup option, or attempt to install SH5 under a new user account (make sure you run the install as administrator). ![]() |

Ill try the new user account option forst.. all I have to do is make another users account on my system if im not mistaken right?? Thanks for the input from all
