Do you CTD after starting in base then saving game on patrol? Or are you trying load a saved game that was saved before you updated your UI?. The method I posted with R.E.M is just a fix for R.E.M if you use R.E.M. I posted that because the orignal poster had his mod list and REM was in it.

It seems all my woes are coming from still being on patrol .
My plan of action shall be after returning to base .. Modify My Sub's sub.sns file comment out - Snorkel feature. Enable 6_7_0 Mods. Start game check results ... seeing if Uboot_Sensor.sms is affecting game. Last result .. continue with 6_7_0 version but remove R.E.M - Mod Art2War |

OK once again. The situation looks like that:
I was starting new carrier with OPEN HORIZONS II. That was my firsth patrol when on returning course I've updated UIs 6.6.0 to 6.7.0 and suddenly things started to happen. When I tried to load my save game at patrol the load was dead ( loading screen was suddenly black and nothing happend ). OK the hell with this patrol so I have started new carrier and everything was fine BUT I've noticed one annoying thig IN THE MIDDLE OF CONNING TOWER !! Im not sure how to get rid of the snorkel. I use a mod that disables it because its not compatible. Thats the PE_MORE_CREW mod

As you can see here : http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...66093&page=511 it looks like problem is here -> "- Incorporated my Uboat_Snorkel mod into this one (all uboat's snorkels are enabled by default) " I'm not the only one with that problem. It looks like I or We with the snorkel problem needs to wait for TheDarkWraith reapairs.

started new patrol .. added fix with UBoot_Senor.sns fix .. as by TDW even disabled REM .. MOd same result Sad to say .. same result CTD .. Lost for now in 6_6_6 world .. Thxs for all the help . Art2War |

Tomorrow nite will be last resort ..
Before enabling 6_7_0 .. + adding REM UbootSensor.sns fix i will disable -Snorkel feature in My Sub's sns file If not lost in 6_6_6 world. Art2War |
