![]() Also at St. Nazaire straight up the central channel is pretty much all there is. Most subnets ran all the way across harbors, and were attached either to a motor system or a tugboat which pulled them aside when friendly ships were entering or leaving.

Mines are also common in the Channel. Shocking.
I did torp a large merchant there. It sank and hit a mine on the way down... ![]()
