Also if using TDW ui mod you can look in the options file found here .
NewUIs_TDC_6_6_0_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Scripts\Menu \TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py

Change this line to True

# do we go to TC1 on any messagebox text?
# change below to either True or False
TC1OnAnyMessageBoxText = True

You can disable it in game by a button next to the TC buttons on the top panel .
