Also remember when you refit, move the fish into the tubes and hit the refit button again to fill up your reserve slots. There's nothing worse than going back out only to find out you have half a load of torpedoes. Learn by those that have made that mistake. (like me)

All right!
Thx 4 all the intel. I'm still on patrol in the Lazur Strait. My orders are "patrol Lazur Strait and engage enemy ships'. Is their a vast amount of ship-tonnage I have to send to the bottom? I mean, just sink ships in this region untill the assignment sais 'complete'? Another question relating to the v1.5 patch: the stock game is almost using all the max. out of my pc capability. Do these patches and modifications ask for more input from my pc or can I just install them without any problems..? greetings |

As far as the Uboat missions go, since it contains all the previous patches it probably helps your performance if anything.

I disagree on that if your on a patrol mission,ie attack mercs enter the patrol zone if thre's nothing there go anwhere you want and hit any target of oppertunity.the only time you need to stay in the 100km radius is when you got the binoculas icon there otherwise go where you wish when you reached the patrol area.

So if you get a "Patrol and engage enemy shipping" in stock you have to stay in the area. In the Luzon missions it is 100 Km which is slightly more than 50 nautical miles. If you are allowed to go anywhere you want it will be a "Sink" mission which usually will say "Deploy to Luzon and engage enemy shipping" OR just "Deploy to Luzon" then a second message when you arrive to "Engage enemy shipping" or some similar message. @Masterdriver: If you get binoculars, you stay within 50 nm for about 48 hours or so. If you get a flag you just need to go to the flag, it will turn grey then you usually need to sink about 10,000 tons. (2 or 3 merchants usually). Peabody

Hi,
thx 4 all the usefull intel! I'm really getting into it. I never knew this kind of game existed. Since I'm a diver I was looking up some things on the net and accidentily popped into it... got more interested in the submarine world and its techniques. I also like the way how you get to learn to know all the instruments, like radars and hydrophone etc... everything at it's time... trial and error. One more question popping up: in the submarineschool, I was only able to select the Porpoise. Are there going to be added more learning events, like radar and hydrophone somewhere further along the game evoluates...? greetings |

The v1.5 version should be more stable than an earlier version, and you should be able to run it, but the mega-mods may be too much if your system is taxed already. |
