I always hear that sound at startup of a new patrol or any saved game when my ship has not yet taken significant damage.
If I've absorbed a few DC attacks, I hear glass breaking and actually see it falling out of the gauges. ![]()

If it sounds like every toilet in the world flushing at once, it's and old bug from what I recall. Has something to do with your soundcard setup.
Been so long since I heard a comment on it, and I just ignore it when it happens. |
