Why would the actual originators of the chart do that if not to highlight those nine squares to be use with a single designator?

I was referring to SH3 and the 'BF10' specifically. Will the game ask you to patrol 'AN10' or 'AM20' or 'CD10'? They made a mistake, and that's the explanation for 'BF10'.
