On a more serious note, what if everyone just put him on the ignore list? Would that serve the same purpose?

Don't even need to put it on an ignore list. All it would take is a commitment from the community not to respond to any of its posts. If it makes a thread, ignore it and it will quickly move to page two, unless it bumps it. Then the moderators can handle it.

Remember, it is doing this to get attention. People need to think carefully before responding.

I can work with that (or try to). Trouble is is when he derails other threads. I guess we can steer around him, but someone will rise to the bait.
