[REQ] how to change periscopes to custom ones?

how do i do this? im making the Skipjack's periscopes be replaced by the ones from ETR's 688i mod...

help would be appreciated

it's a periscope_1024.dds I think with an alpha channel for the reticle

No, i want to change the 3D Model.

I did it for the jap type 88 scope, it's in the interior.dat for every sub

goto Data/Library/USSubParts/Sensors_Sub_US_dat.

there are the Obs_Periscop and Attack_Periscop nodes.export the 3d models and change them as you like, then re-import the models.

yeah but those are the scopes you see outside, the ones inside the sub are in the interior.dat

i believe that is what he wanted to know since ETR did change the masts and not the interior appearance.

by the way, how`s the type XXX doing?

i got the periscopes from the 688i on the Skipjack, but,
one problem.

they are facing horizontal ( not up right )

any help with this would be appreciated...

I've been taking a kindo break from SH4 of late.. recharging my batteries

but I'm not out of it yet !
