A couple of ideas.

I would look at sims based on China. I really try to stay current and currently China is testing a new Sub launched Ballistic Missile, and are building new SSNs and SSBNs, supposedly far superior to their present.
It is truly thought provoking on the number of amphibs they have recently purchsed from Russia, and how many older Destroyers they have converted to what we used to APDs. They are building new Destroyers and Frigates to replace their current stuff. I have not read anything about working on a CV.
I honestly believe that the new Cold War will be with China. Don't forget that Russia has been testing or will test some new sub launched SBNs.
There is always the possibilty of Arab States buying some hardware to threaten us or whom ever.
