@ Collin:
Yup, it's a gaming forum here.
Many people often forget so, but especially here in General Topics, it sometimes gets heated and the wind gets rougher. That's why I noticed many regular posters on here used to become absent from GT and hang around in other sections of this board and return to GT only occasionally. Many even never post in the GT section at all. However if you want to prove you're something worth, face the feedback which you might get here.

So people judge you on here for smoking? To say it with the words of the wise Alfred E. Newman: So what? - When you sit on a bench in the park and people see you smoke, they judge you too. And believe me, when I would you sitting and look at how you smoke, how you inhale, hold the cig, I would see if you are someone who just wants to look hip and cool or just someone, well with an unhealthy habit.

Same as you have a healthy mistrust of people who offer you something out of altruism, people mistrust persons who look for handouts. Take Gragamel for example, he is usually a guy who is a lot friendlier in his posts, much friendlier than grumpy me, yet he became po'd, same way you are p'od.

Us toothless old men who hang around here have all been through this age - at least all of us who didn't skip a year. Many noticed that life often changed on our path. Hell, with 17, my hair style, attitudes, believes, tastes changed every two days!
If Gargamel, one of the old, toothless men I spoke about before - can turn to something new, jobwise spoken - and puts his effort into it, you can do it too! I hope at this point I don't sound like a damned motivational coach, lol.
Anyway, this is an additude that has my deepest respect: the mentality to say: I'm only 159 now, and don't want to live my life inside the rails which I don't like. So why not start fresh and spend more time in finding something new than mourning about something lost in the past?
And if you really have the foresight to save money for college funds, you also get my respect for this. I certainly couldn't think a week into the future at your age - my Frau says I still can't

And since I am in a ****ing nice, ungrumpy mood today: I would really like to give you an inportant advice: ask the mods, or Neal to change your username, even if you decide not to post here anymore. In the sub commander thread you stated that you are a communist.
Your belief, you don't get **** for your believes here (or only little), as you don't only speak in paroles, like a certain other user here, who claims to be a commie. But, for the reasons stated above, your believes might change some day. Maybe you calim to be capitalist, monarchist, magnetist or a wombatist like Frau Kaleun.

Still, when you apply for a job, even in 10 years, when an employee googles your name, he will see your name and the words communist. I did, and certainly will post things here again, that I regret later, or didn't mean so, or just get lost in translation. That's my reason not to use my real name here. That's why I alsodon't use facebook, I don't want the whole world to know that I sometimes listen to old **** from Madonna, or did a poop yesterday. A principle, called information privacy.

Anyway, the call about your personal info is on you, same as it's your call to stay or go. However if you write that your parents are drug addicts, you could also get them into trouble, wheather it's your intention or not.

edit: just saw the new thread which you opened:
but still think about my last paragraphs!
