I'm not looking at it from a conspiracy point of view, just a "they have no interest in it" point of view. Now if they put half of the effort in to investigate this story that they put into investigating the rumor the republican guv candidate was not an or-gone citizen (They were trying to prove he lived in WA because he owned a house there years ago.)

oh well, you get what you vote for. Now we have a fruitcase representing us. But he's a demmcrat, he'll bring home the federal bacon, so who cares. More money for us.

Yeah, but his crazy outbursts were going on well before this election cycle. Even I heard about his 'fake Klingons' comment. The people of Oregon voted for him because he had a 'D' next to his name; personal insanity be damned. You do indeed get what you vote for.

That's the whole problem here, it's one party rule. I could get a rock and paint a "D" on it and it would win hands down in an election.

Oh and a funny thing regarding Wu. You may have heard Intel Corp is building a new wafer manufacturing fab here, which will create ~3000 contruction jobs, plus the people that will permanently work there. Well, Wu (anti-corperate) was actively fighting Intel in the past to block their growth here. (that's a whole different story)

Well, now that they are expanding and "creating jobs" he's first in line to get his mug in the picture so he can say he was part of the job creation process.

First of all, I applaud his staff for trying to get him help. Regardless of politics, when someone needs help, they need help, and the people around him tried. God bless em for that.

Secondly, the man does seem to have occasions when he loses a secure grip. I pray he will get the attention he needs long term to solve that issue.

As for the paper, and the info coming out, sure the timing sucks from one perspective, but on the other - at least this will be a known issue in the next cycle. I would hope the democrats put up a primary challenger to him. Sometimes info doesn't come out like we expect in the "Its breaking news 24 hrs a day" routine we see. Still - its coming out, kudos to those bringing it to light.
