Say what you will, but my iMac has never failed me. Even when I inevitably manage to hopelessly screw up the Windows partition, iMac brings it back. It still runs the latest games on Windows Vista (of all things) without much trouble. It is well worth the $1500 I paid for it.

I've seen macs fail completely and just as badly as windows. I personally do not like paying a surcharge simply because apple has re-branded something. I would comment further, but I do not have time

I don't doubt you, but my Mac has never failed me. My PCs, on the other hand, have managed to suffer everything from motherboard faults to hopeless registry damage every two years or so in the course of normal use.

I personally do not like like losing my data and paying for new computers on a regular basis. I expect my computer to work reasonably well and be efficient without the need for a lot of action on my part. I am not a software specialist, and I shouldn't have to be one to keep my computer running at optimal capacity.

Oh noes, not a Mac vs. PC again! Frankly both sides get on my nevers, I got a PC (HP) with Windows 7 last fall and it works great-that said I do like Macs just wasn't willing to shell out extra for two os just to play games. I got an iphone 4 though and really like it.
