Default I cant play. Too slow. System specs inside...

QUAD core 2.4 ghz and an ATI Radeon HD 4870 card and a Raptor Hard drive.
I am someone who babies his computer because I built it myself. When something is wrong with the PC, I know about it. Also I have 4gb of high quality RAM. I played Cyrsis on this machine with max settings and very little slow down on that.......

I'd really like to play this Silent Hunter 5 game but it's just impossible right now. I installed the game, installed the 1.2 patch, then the MO mod, then the MO patch 2. Even put in the Anti-lag thing.

Here's the weird part. On the surface with the waves and everything it runs very smooth. It's when I'm around any of the crew or inside the sub.....slow as crud. Very choppy. What to do please??????

I am running Win7 X64. Just want to be clear, I'm not bashing at all. I know it's got to be playable on this system. I built a beast on purpose.

It might be your graphics card... some mods have a habit of using large image/texture files and this might be crowding out your graphics card memory.

You might have to disable the your mods one at a time, until you find the 'culprit'

I doubt its the card.. in all honesty one of my alternate computers has a 4870 and I've plaayed sH5 on it a time or two.. not with the mega mod though.

Is your CCC up to date? also shadows is a big deal.. and truth be told its not going to run PERFECT on a beast computer anyways, I'm running a AMD Phenom Quad 3.2, 8 gig Patriot Ram, and a 5870 on my primary gamer, and it heats it up and puts it thru its paces, nobody can deny that.
