I see Windows 8 will be out in two years or less, it will have all new code
in the OS. I also see microsoft will have out a new Flight Sim about the same time, that will work on Windows 8. The big ? is will SH3 work on it, I just hope to hell it will. I also hope we will a new Subsim out by that time. ![]() ![]() WHAT DO YOU THINK ?? |

I think I don't even have 7 yet. And when I get a new machine I don't plan on throwing out the old one. And you can partition drives and keep XP to run SH3 with. I don't see a problem.

It would be nice to think there could be a new silent hunter that would have all the best bits from the last couple of games

Yes, that Microsoft Flight Sim game, is the longest game running. Started

As to SH3 and 8? My question is.. who cares? It's 3+ years away (they say 2). I'm sure there will be another top end sim by then... UBI or not... Anyways, M$ has done a decent job at legacy compatibility.... so I'm sure there will at least be modes to run older software. |

Oh, and I still have my copy of MicroSoft Flight Simulator, for my Atari 520ST, that I bought back in 1988.

Too soon to tell. Or atleast to worry about. They do try to keep compatibility with older applications/games so there is hope. But you never known what feature they come up with that might go against what the Ubisoft devs expected of Windows XP.
