Dl'ed your Mod to have a closer look at it. Maybe I can change it to the opposite direction. For me even Vanilla is too colorful.

If more peolpe are looking for less color (if they are think that vanilla is to colored) i can release a version to take color away from vanilla - but i am sure that most of the people like to have more color
