The Hull - Bow to Stern - 4 Sections Conning tower - 1-2 sections Dive planes and rudders - Individual Prop cover - Individual (Anyone with an easier way of modelling the hull, please let me know) I'll post pic's of the different hull sections shortly!

Thanks for the support, I appreciate it...But I'm flying blind at the moment with no experience at all.
I'm currently trying to model to basic hull which i guess would be a basic cylinder shape. Yes? Is there a better and easier way to build the basic shape of the Astute's hull? Any help and advice would be great appreciated on how go about this and what software to use, I'm currently using misfit model 3d EDIT I've had a go at putting down a cylinder and then dragging it to match the image, the problem I'm having now is that the images I'm using aren't the same scales for some reason and I don't have a lot of knowledge in how to deal with that. If anyone could tell me how to correctly set up background images and then to match up the points that would be great.
