Oh, that's right. 2012 is next year. Gotta get things moving if the world is going to end.

German media now report that in Falköping, a small town in Southern Sweden, also a mass dying of birds, which then fell from the sky, has taken place yesterday. Around 100 birds, (in German called "Dolen") were found.

If all these cases have the same causes, then a weather phenomenon is the most likely explanation, even mores ionce it was said that the birds already were hurt when falling down.

But it still is unanswered why outside any season for mass migration of birds, so many birds flocked together in the incidents in the US.

Tan tan tan tan tan tan Flash...Ahaaaaaa, savior of the Universe!

The first comment by people in the online newspaper site, with the louisiana birds were all about the end of the world, birds using the magnetic poles for orientation and the planet poles have shifted a lot this year (yes in 5 days...)etc.

It's the end of the world I say....

Amateur video from Falköping, Sweden.

Video from Louisiana.

A comment said they could have been hit by a radar sweep. Early reports on the very first incident mentioned - though rarely - burn-like injuries. I myself wonder if maybe some secret satellite projecting a beam - for terrestric measurments via radar or microwaves - also could have something to do with it.

But it seems to be always just one species in one place being effected. Maybe they share a biological feature that is unique to them. Like whales or dolphins being irritated by sonars, and then hitting a beach.

Changes in the magnetic field...? - Just a far-fetched speculation of mine.
Solar radiation phenomenon? Also far-fetched, I know.

Bird flu...?

I saw it before, but I find it hard to believe a potential bird flu, but because it has happened in many places worldwide, there is reason to make a proper inquiry into the atmosphere with infrared technology and the help of satellites that can measure other important sources of information
