during your drinking session stop and have something to eat then continue drinking after. I never get a hangover this way if I just drink without eating something during the session I wake up with a splitting headache everytime.

have you tried sauerkraut? if memory serves me right that works on hangovers...jut get a little kielbasa or something and have a decent meal while you are at it

Though it usually doesn't sounds appealing at all the next day, if you have another beer/drink after you wake up it'll stop the hangover and get you back into a semi-intoxicated state. Then you just go about the day and let your body break down the alcohol over time.
