What you do isn't always what you get

Did you sink any warships, i.e., non-merchant tonnage? Because I think if the mission was to sink 25K in merchant tonnage, and you got over the amount but they weren't all merchants, it'll still consider the mission incomplete.

Did you sink? Or is that just lost the game? I don't play enough singles to know.
