Well, I have pulled the PSU unit out. Going to replace it in the next day or so to see if that is the problem. Researched that a similar problem is caused by the thermal paste going bad.
I dont think this is the case because the shutdown happens just before the computer boots windows, each time. Plus it has no time to heat up. I did reinstall the PSU unit to check the RAM. After trying one stick, switching another around, then the other, same problem. I have cleaned all the fans, watercooler, the components, and the case in general and it was filthy. Hopefully the PSU will solve this one, there is only so much xbox i can take! Last edited by Factor; 12-28-10 at 12:14 AM. |
