Absolutely. The mulitude of options and levels of realism exist so that each can play as it suits them. I prefer very realistic, but if someone wants to play with auto TDC and unlimited fuel, more power to them.

I love options. The more the better. Somedays I'm in hardcore mode, somedays I'm in let's just blow something up mode. I despise having anything dictated to me as 'this is the only way it can be done'. If someone presents those situations to me then I will find a way to circumvent it just for spite (and because I can)

Yeah, I have those days too. Sometimes when I am in a bad mood I just want to blow stuff up, so I turn down the realism and watch the fireworks. Does wonders for your mood.

I have always thought of auto TDC as an excuse for not having enough tutorial from the manual and in game myself. I'm not giving peeps a hard time for using it I do too sometimes its just not as fun IMHO...

I wish there was a submarine school option, kind of like the opening chapters of Iron Coffins.

You have to hand SH credit though as a sub sim it is the best.

the new tutorial feature I included in my UIs mod allows for such 'submarine schools'. People just have to design the tutorials now. I gave you the means to do it now you all have to make the 'schools'.

I am still using this feature. At the moment it is hard to find the time (very busy at work) to spend more then 2 hrs per day.

So far I am sticking to the different features within the UI (teleporting etc), but hope to get to tactics soon.

If anyone else would like to help, that would be great.

Now all you have to do is teach me to make the schools, without saying here is the goblin editor there you go...

...or better still teach me to teach others , it has to be said your mods (along with Privateers dev tools for modders are the eels testicles)

(humble applogies in advance if I missed the point or caused offence, this Belguim beer is wicked stuff and I do tend to ramble on )

Goblin editor is not needed for the new tutorial feature. All you need is the menu editor so you can reference the menu items.

I made the new tutorial feature easy to use. See the \data\Tutorials\TDW_Tutorial.txt file for all commands available. I would also look over my included tutorials to see how I did what I did.
