Default Radio Room upgrades

I have made some changes to the radio room which I hope you will enjoy!

Changes are:

1. Radio Receiver (left of radio op) Panel replaced with high-res panel - now looks better and brighter.

2. Picture above radio op are now varied and include more personalized photographs (as you would expect to be there!) plus pin-up pics of Evelyn Kunneke.

3. Kaptain's bunk has a copy of 'Die Sirene' magazine and a bundle of ' 50 Reichmarks'- maybe to buy fresh fish?...

Here is the file:

http://rapidshare.de/files/6117365/d...dio_7.tga.html

To install after d/l copy the file 'druck_radio_7' to SH3/data/textures/TNormal/tex

This folder is checked for 'new-modified textures' and will substitute for the game's TLowRes files with whatever is put in here. If you want to revert back to your original radio cabin, simply delete (or rename) druck_radio7 from the TNormal/tex folder.

enjoy!

Excellent.

Thankyou. Karl will like it.

It amazes me, when i see some gamers can play SH3 while at the same time surf the net. How is this done cos this would kill alot of time when im just cruising around waiting for some ship to show up. do you play SH3 in window mode? whenever i try playing the game in window mode my game crashes. I dont think my computer can handle it in this mode. But is this the way you do it?

What I do, Kiwi, is a Ctrl Alt Delete (once only). It pauses the game and sends me back to the desktop with the SHIII icon on the toolbar. Then I can ask a question here or surf the web. When I want to rejoin SHIII, I click the icon and it quickly takes me back where I left off.

Or you could always alter-tab out of SH3 and leave things running in real time. That way you could simulate real u-boat captains who surfed the net while resting in their bunks.
