Probably like a "regular" person having to sit and watch a submarine movie with any of us in the room

Never thought you were..
I've seen several SS in the past of so called eclipses, so went looking . Overall the game fails in celestial aspects, but for the periods I tested the moon phase for full moons, each time was correct.

Even though they're improper SS's for the eclipse, rather amazing that the 2 I looked for took place at the right time and location. The total eclipse up north obvious isn't going to show up, but the phase time was fairly close.

The last shot of just the haze in the binocs is a fairly amazing SS to me and I would think closer to how an eclipse would appear. I would've never seen it had I not been looking.

Why rendering is incorrect, still fairly amazing that the eclipses showed up at the proper time and location, a fluke, possible.
Be interesting if people have SS's of eclipses taking place at incorrect times.

When you get laid up in bed, it's amazing what boredom will make you do....
