But that wasn't anime / manga style.

Yeah I know. But when your bored and you decided to look for some cool mods, and I start seeing more anime inspired BS, and less what I would call, "real attempts" i find myself slightly annoyed. But it wasn't just this game that bothered me. This rant of mine has steam gathered over 3 different games over the course of a few years. Seems like every freaking RPG game that has mods... you find a glut of anime/manga garbage. So then you have to sort out the real mods, from the garbage.

yes I know. Believe me i know. I work for an internet security and filtering corp. I've seen every bit of garbage the internet has to offer, for the last 10 years. You name it, ive seen it. Doesn't mean i like it, or get used to it all, or grow tired of seeing various crap.

Ohhh i got a dilly for you then. You'll need to create and account to view it, but hell, someone made a mod and turned an RPG into a full on porno! That bit of ruckus from GTA some years back can't hold a candle to this user created content!

NSFW. (Hell, may as well call it XXX rated )

Anyway, just venting. I never did see the draw to anime. I had a room mate drag me to some anime convention once in anahiem. Never did i see the largest collection of the mutants, freaks, and people with severe hormonal imbalances. You walked in and the first thing you were greeted with was a chorus of freaks in various costumes standing around and laughing.. over and over and over again. I looked at my room mate, with what must have been the most puzzled look on my face, and before i could say the words, "what the hell is that?!", he explained to me.. "oh thats the anime laugh......." Ummm hmmm... oooohhhh kaaayyy. I would not be surprised if he's still single. Guy never had a date or a girl while i knew him.

I said it sells I dident say I was buying it

I'm not very likely to create an account just to look at some digital boobies.

Besides as you probably know any site of that sort comes with risks...

Over the past 18 hours or so the Nexus sites have been sporadically serving a trojan file through the ads on the site. Thanks to the logs of a few astute members on the forums I was able to identify the source of the trojan attack and have hopefully now nullified it. The Nexus sites should, touch wood, no longer be serving these compromised ads any more.

Dragon magazine once featured a wonderful cartoon showing a woman warrior sitting in a tavern. She is wearing a chainmail bikini with several arrows stuck in the top and bottom, and saying to the guy sitting next to her "Good thing I had my armor on!"

That brings back fond memories of several of my Dad's board games.

Wasn't Red Sonja was it?

The only thing that can be said is that the Japanese have a very strange attitude to women.

For example, take Ghost in the Shell, in it's various guises. Major Kusanagi is meant to be the field commander of an elite counter terrorism unit. But the way the character is designed, she's the series' eye candy. Looks like a supermodel in a skintight outfit, but is able to command a bunch of burly men?

I always find it highly amusing that in the first season of the "Stand Alone Complex" tv series, she starts out in what is effectively a basque, but by the end, thay actually had her wearing trousers! That's a bit unusual by anime standards!

Now, have a look at this:http://pitroad.s232.xrea.com/soreyuke/

I feel sorry for any Japanese woman trying to build a career in the Defence Forces if they're reduced to that!

Mike.
