Could you give a few more details about your computer? I had similar problems when I first started SH3 lo these many moons ago - turned out to be a memory problem ( as in not enuf). A similar situation exists now when I try and load too many mods - it gets to a point and then just barfs.....

i also had the same problem
![]() but my fix was, that i had a higer resolution on the game then the monitor had on my desk. so i had to change the game res whit a little mod called res fix for Xp. set it to 1280*1024 it worked for me ![]()

The load bar will pause for a while at that point before it finishes loading, give it a few minutes to finish, there is a lot going on at that point in the loading process.

We're in agreement. If the screen doesn't go black and give you an error message then it's probably still loading. GWX has a lot of files, and can take awhile to load.
