Hi Hans,

I am always thrilled when someone pushes the 'next step' in SH Games.

I am mostly thrilled at advancements in SH3!
By all standards?
It should be an ignored version by now.
But people such as yourself keep proveing that thought wrong!

Hi Privateer,

For me a classic never get old, i remember the first time i start SH3 and my jaw drop on the floor! First time i got sea sickness in my life was in the rough Atlantik by a stormy day.

The moment i enjoy the most is when i put my favorite selection of song from ww2 Germany on the gramophone and going for the hunt.

This game is more then a game i said in an old post that this game have it own soul, the soul of brave soldiers who died at sea...

In my system of belief it is clear that most of the folks here at subsim are reincarnation of those valorous sailors, when you have a very high interest in one era and specific thing like for us ww2 German submarine, it is because your soul still remember that earlier life and they say soul like minded are always draw back together!

Some may laugh at this but we are more than 2 billions to believe it!
Personally i still make vivid dreams of my past life.

Anyways life is stranger than fiction some time

OK enough of my spiritual beliefs

Back to something more serious do you have any clue about how the SH3 engine process the smooth groups cause i realise last night testing the boat at different hours of the day, that the conning tower had ugly shadows related to face smoothing i try detaching it reattaching, clear all smooth, reapply another one but no success.

If i can't find a fix i will have to redo the ext conning tower

Best regards Hans
