I played this part of mission quite a few times, till I figured out what I was doing wrong.

Actually last night I did read the posts and I was sinking the wrong type. My bad. However, the stationary ones, even the right ones did not count. Only the ones sailing out of the port. This might be a cheat but I found out that if you sink one and save the game and go back another ship spawns. That way you can get all three without waiting.

Honestly i dont know why people cant do this. In every campaign ive played, ive been able to sink merchants and AMC in their harbor and have it count. maybe lite campaign could have something to do with it, orsomethings wrong here...

It counts as a kill but do not satisfy the parameters of the mission (speaking about stationary ships in port).
