Looks like the best outcome of what could have been a tragic situation.

Nutcase bad guy killed
Hostages safe
little property damage

I would say this was about the happiest ending we could have expected from this.

Kudos to the police! Thanks for keeping us safe.

Well he should have at least demanded that they bring back monster garage. maybe then i would support his cause.

just kidding. Pitty to see him killed though. nobody deserves to die. especially one who obviously needed help rather than a bullet.

I would agree with this up to the point when the mentally ill become a viable threat against our society.

well yeah he was a danger. I was more saying like it would have been better to see all people involved safe and alive, including the gunman. He could have gotten some real help if that had happen.

Reports from various news sources state he watched Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth and decided he wasn't doing enough to save the planet.

So he decided to hold Discovery Communications responsible and hold three people at risk. After speaking to LOE for more than an hour he pointed a handgun at a hostage. It was at that point he was shot and killed. The shot was open through out the 'negotiation',

algore is currently on "vacation", unavalible for comment.
