It occurs to me that if all their hardware is as old as that Mig that crashed last week or two ago, their technological disadvantage is worse then i would have originally thought. They do have numbers, and motivation (they have nothing to lose and everything to gain), but I strongly suspect the DPRK's communications and radar infrastructure, would be eliminated virutally overnight, and current battle field technology would make short work of the tanks and planes. DPRK is using outdated soviet era hardware, no? Which leaves thousands of screaming southbound communist Hanguk's with AK's to deal with.

The thing isn't really the DPRK in a resumption of a shooting war. The thing is China and what they decide to do if war was to resume. Garunteed, china does not want US forces that close to its borders , AND it doesn't want thousands of DPRK refugee's flooding into its already overpopulated country.
