Hello. This is the first mod i have made and will keep updating it if people like it.

version 1.0
This mod replaces over 70 of the boring stock sounds such as guns, periscope,engines,batteries, explosions, planes, and much much more.

I made a youtube video showing some of the sounds
Hope you guys enjoy it and tell me what you think of it.

, overall I think is OK , but the engine have the same issue like the stock SH5 engine sound, that instead of increasing the engine RPM, increasing the speed just increase the engine noise volume and not the RPM , other than that I think overall is OK

I think the best engine sound I hear was of the GWX SH3

I think the best engine sound I hear was of the GWX SH3

i wish that engine problem could be fixed but i dont think it can unless some one can make separate files for each engine speed

Very nice so far, one note however... Very little valvetrain mechanical racket is audible outside the sub, here's a video of USS Cod, a WWII US submarine running its engines:

Aah.. you see the problem is that I just got a touch up Mod for Capthelms Mod, so if yours overwrites some of his files, well then they will be Kaput.. however I wonder how yours will fare being installed Before Capthelms.

I checked out this mod Krauter, it would be fine if you wanted to put Capthelm's audio with my touchups over top of it. There is a lot of file overlap, so JSGME will have a fit, but just tell it to over write. I really think that the mixture of sounds that results is pretty top notch.

And, by the way M1Thompson, if you want, you can use the touched up sounds of Capthelm's that I have on the first post of my interior mod.

One other note, I've noticed that some sounds have a lot of clipping, mainly explosions. The way to get sounds to be louder is not by boosting gain when editing, that only leads to distortion, you need to edit the sh.sdl file and adjust levels there.

yes. i use window movie maker to record the sounds. in fact a like the 20mm sound on there better than the one i have on my mod. thanks for the tip. i will put it in version 1.1
i record the sound but it dosent sound good because of it not being single fire and with all the battle sounds in the background. i start school tomorrow so i dont have much time to find the same sound on the Internet. would you find it please and put the link in a reply please.
a fun fact
the flak gun in the movie is the flak 38, the same one you use in your sub. and that is exactly what it sounds like in real life.
