Actually I don't know if the BIOS screen appears, the monitor was unplugged at the time. I remember she had problems earlier where the monitor would read: No Input, despite the computer being plugged in. I don't know if she ever got that fixed between here and there.

you would get a beep code even without a CPU or Ram ( ; Im thinking its the PSU. Plug an exhaust fan into one of the molex conecetors. Even if every component on the board is dead it should still run that fan if the PSU is good..... If the fan dont run or kinda sorta does then its either the PSU or maybe even the power switch.
