Autocrew allows the player to leave a station to work another. You can't be two places at once. It does not change DW into SH. Over the years this forum has heard of lot of complaints about the autocrew because it doesn't do good enough of a job to allow a player to pretend s/he's the captain. Some players want that--but DW does not deliver. It wasn't designed that way.
