Just picked up Steel Beasts - Page 2

I found a link last night that gave me the "Steel Beast PRo Personal Edition" Can't do it now but I will purchase tonight. Then its time to break out the old FM 17-12-3 (US Armor Tank Gunnery Feild Manual). I was so struck in awe viewing the TC/Gunnery Qualification Run. I am still blown away and even forwarded the U Tube Vid to my peers. Please keep me informed either on this forum or PM.

For the life of me I do not see why the US Army refused to invest into the top end graphics afforded in SBP. All we had and I believe still have is the crappy A-FIST. 2 Yellow squares with a stick coming out of one of them represneted your M1 (Yuk) and a brown shoe box with wheels was a PC? The military never really used of the shelf type graphics (CoD5, SBP, SHV, SF, TvsT) And now I hear that SBP (Professional Edition) can host 8 - 10 players. That equates to 2 Full Platoons plus HQ element (CO / XO). I can see that I am about to enter a whole new world in SBP and I can't wait.

You can never spend too much time on the range practicing your gunnery.

As you can see,you need SB Pro PE (personal edition) and yes,it can be modded.

I did it! purchased SB Pro PE so all I can do is wait

I can answer any questions you might have, so long as they don't conflict with my responsibilities as a beta-tester for eSim. I know the software pretty well by now

Latest news on features that got confirmed for the upcoming new version:

Included will be a Piranha III Lemur with full 3D interior, if I see that correctly, civilian cars (AI only), a T-72B (AI only), and AI versions of the T-62, and also (Ai only) the M1A2 SEP and M1A1 (HA).

I think after a longer time I will sit down again and put together some battle stuff with Leopard-1s, T-55s and T-62s. Maybe even with deactivated Lasers and thermals.
